Medicare Advantage, also known as Medicare part C, is a comprehensive health insurance plan offered by private insurance companies that contract with Medicare. These plans provide an all in one alternative to original Medicare Parts A and B and often include additional benefits.

With Medicare Advantage, you receive not only the standard hospital and medical coverage of original Medicare, but can also include additional perks such as prescription drug coverage (Part D), dental, and vision care, wellness programs, and other valuable services.

Members typically enjoy a coordinated care approach, featuring a network of healthcare providers to ensure high quality care. Medicare Advantage plans often have lower monthly premiums than a Medicare Supplement plan, however they often have higher out-of-pocket costs.
